Welcome to the Adrianna Gunn Photography blog! Today we're sharing highlights from this fairytale wedding hopping around Lake Buena Vista and Walt Disney World. This sweet couple reached out to me from the UK looking for someone to capture the memories from their Disney dream of a wedding. Their ceremony was a faux beach-front wedding at Paradise Cove Orlando, with a hop over to Paddlefish Orlando in Disney Springs for portraits and a private reception, and finished off with an unforgettable fireworks cruise leaving from Disney's Yacht Club Resort, sailing through Disney's Boardwalk and Hollywood Studios to dock at EPCOT for a private viewing of the new EPCOT Forever Fireworks display. Interested to see an inside look? Let's get to it!
A look fit for an island princess!
On deck for a first look, our bride's dad and brother. Jaws were DROPPED. I mean, keep scrolling, she really is just that gorgeous.
The only appropriate way for a groom and groomsmen to enter the ceremony is by speed boat of course! The felt cool, they looked cool, and I was stoked to be capturing all of it!
There's nothing like a Florida ceremony under the wispy palm tree leaves.
At the altar, hand in hand with your love. Now that's a view you'll want burned into your memory forever.
Pro tip: Practice your twirls and DIPS! They don't come naturally, but when practiced we get STUNNING moments like these!
Grandpa and grandma signing the marriage license. Someone get me a box of tissues – STAT!
You think they'll freeze and ship that top tier across the pond?
Farewell paradise, now to Disney Springs!
And the luckiest girl in the world award goes to... Yes, you're seeing that correct. Our groom gave a speech before their dinner and gave our bride the luckiest girl in the world award. It was an absolutely hilarious surprise for everyone. How he hid that trophy in his luggage, I have no clue but I love it! Paddlefish Orlando has the perfect dining rooms for couples looking for a private reception space for them and their intimate wedding parties. No boring dining rooms here either! Just look at all that beautiful light!
Now to set sail from Disney's Yacht club Resort! This fireworks cruise was such a dream! Not only did this couple luck out with BEAUTIFUL breezy 70 degree Florida Fall weather, but their boat was stocked with all sorts of fun Disney treats and drinks. Our bride's favorite? A Mickey-shaped rice crispy treat dipped in chocolate. A perfect edible prop to share for a sail in front of Disney's Boardwalk.
This fireworks cruise wasn't just a quick sail for fireworks and right back to shore. It was an hour and a half of sailing around Disney's Boardwalk, past the Swan and Dolphin over to Disney's Hollywood Studios, and then all the way back for our special firework viewing. What made it all the better was our cruise captain telling us fun facts along the way. Even I enjoyed a couple gummy bears – a pregnancy craving – while sailing along camera in hand.
And that my friends is what we call a Happily Ever After.
