As a marketing intern at Trimark I have had the unique opportunity to lend a hand in the marketing efforts supporting the student housing leasing season and the development of the Gainesville Innovation District.
Upon my arrival, I began researching our target audience's preferences and interests in terms of housing, technology and advertising, using historical metrics and public resources. Through this knowledge I was able to help story board, master mind and recruit talent for our student housing leasing season's promotional video. The video was created in partnership with Heart Happy Films to give viewers an inside look at the life of ease and luxury a Trimark resident experiences. After filming, I helped the team make strategic and creative revisions for an ideal final cut. Once we received the raw footage I was tasked with editing it into a brief seven second video advertisement optimal for Google, Youtube and Facebook, that highlighted our features and resources.
One of my projects at Trimark was to create a gif that could be used as an advertisement to create urgency regarding renewals and signing leases. The original concept idea was to make a boomerang of one of our leasing agents showing a property to be "sold out". I was given the creative freedom to come up with an idea I saw most fitting for the purpose of the ad and that would catch the attention of our audience. I pitched the idea of a phone scrolling through properties on our search page so our audience could see not only all of the properties already unavailable but also draw their attention to one of our main resources. My pitch was approved and I got to work creating the ad.
